Firsts

This has been a week of firsts.

Sunday was our first family trip to a pumpkin patch.

That same night, Colin learned how to pull up in his crib and we had to lower it.

Over the past couple days, a sharp little tooth has been trying to cut its way up through my baby's bottom gum.


And last but not least, today was his first non-routine doctor's appointment. My poor baby, at 9 months old, has come down with his first cold. Dr. G says it's viral and should run its course in a few days. I guess we're lucky it has taken this long for Colin to get sick. Ever since starting daycare, I knew this was coming eventually. Despite the coughing and sneezing and green snot, though, my baby boy is still his happy, silly self.


Oh, and another first: I had my first pumpkin pie milkshake at Sonic today and it was DELICIOUS!
