It's Colin's party, he'll cry if he wants to

Colin will be 1 year old on Tuesday. My baby is almost not a baby anymore. But I'm not ready to talk about that yet, haha. I'm still in denial. He isn't walking yet, although he has taken one step on his own, so I'm not willing to use the "t" word just yet (cough toddler cough).

Anyway, my baby's birthday party was yesterday. It went well, except that he was tired throughout most of it, due to the fact that he didn't get a great nap that morning. He was so not cool with the cake smash. He stared at his dirty hand in horror and cried for me to pick him up. Oh well, he was still cute and it will make for a good story when he's older. Here are some pictures of Colin's special day. Thanks to our sweet friends and family for coming to celebrate with us!

He's so cute! The picture of him just staring at his icing-covered hand is hilarious. Happy birthday to Colin! I can't believe I am going to be doing this in less than 2 months! Sniff sniff!

Poor kids just don't know what to do with a smash cake. My little girl had a complete melt down all three times we tried it. SHe didn't like the singing or the feel of the cake on her hands. Oh well. :)

What a cute little boy! He seemed to enjoy the rest of the party (minus the cake). I love the colours too.
