Are you feeling guilty because you forgot about a wet load of laundry for two days and had to wash the entire load again to get that moldy smell out? Ashamed that you woke up so late one morning that one of your dogs threw up because her poor little tummy was empty?
What's that you say? These things only happen to me?
Oh, well. I refuse to 'fess up to my shortcomings. Know why? That's right! Because it's Not Me! Monday!

The other day, Hubby and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we've had lately and grill some hamburgers. Well... our little afternoon grilling session sure did not almost turn into a complete disaster.
While Hubby cleaned and prepared the grill, I set to work in the kitchen making hamburger patties.
I pulled the meat out of the fridge and DID NOT quickly realize that it was still partially frozen.
Being the genius that I am, I most certainly DID NOT put half of the hamburger into a bowl and put it in the microwave to defrost.
About a minute later, I sure DIDN'T open the microwave to find some halfway cooked, brownish, gooey, disgusting mess in the bowl.
I definitely DID NOT quickly dump the nasty mess into the trash can and start over with the remaining meat. I was NOT too afraid to try to defrost the second half of the meat, and so I DIDN'T knead it with my hands - and just about give myself frostbite - trying to warm it up.
Once the patties were made (whew!) and the charcoal was ready, I put our two little patties and a cut-up onion on the grill. My lovely little patties certainly DID NOT stick so badly to the grill that they almost fell completely apart. Hubby and I DID NOT have to maneuver very carefully with a spatula to be able to flip them.
The, um, burgers that we did not make the other day were not actually pretty delicious when all was said and done. :)
What have you NOT been up to lately?
